What are we learning right now? September 2014: We have been doing some review of note reading, note value, and rest value. We are really focusing on rhythms right now. In order to fully understand this, we have had to do a lot of work with fractions.
October 2014: We are still working on fractions and how they relate to musical rhythms. We have also been learning about how dots and ties affect the rhythms. Next, we will work on time signatures. |
